Who is Whitney Scott Mathers?

Whitney was born under the zodiac sign of Aries in St. Joseph, Missouri USA on 16 April 2002, and holds American nationality. She is known for being the youngest of famous American rapper Eminem’s three daughters. His first album “Infinite” landed in 1996, and his EP “Slim Shady” was released in 1997. He already became worldwide famous with his releases of “The Marshall Mathers LP” in 2000 and “The Eminem Show” in 2002 – he won two Best Rap Album Grammy awards, one for each of these releases. He kept on delivering popular rap albums, and in 2013 won two more Grammy Awards to take his total count of Grammys to 15 – more than anyone else has won. Eminem is still very active today and constantly makes new music – his latest album is “Kamikaze” which was released in 2018 and was the year’s bestselling album. He currently holds the title of the world’s bestselling artist of all time, although that is somewhat debateable.

He is also an accomplished actor – he starred in “8 Mile” hip hop movie in 2002 which won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for his performance of “Lose Yourself”, one of his most popular songs. Things got even worse when Eminem found out that Kim was cheating him with not one, but a few other men, and he became physically violent which led to him being taken away by the police; their marriage ended with a divorce in 2001. Just as Eminem writes and sings about his daughters, he also wrote a couple of songs about Kim after their divorce which she didn’t like at all.

Not long after they separated, Kim started dating Eric Hatter for a very brief time and on 16 April 2002 Whitney was born. She never got a chance to meet her biological father since he was a convict who was already on the run and hiding from the police – he was a drug addict already convicted on drug charges, and spent time in jail. That’s when Eminem did something not a lot of people would do – he decided to adopt Whitney knowing that she had no father role, and that her mother was a drug addict. Kim and Eminem even tried to get back together for the sake of kids, and re-married in 2006 but that didn’t work out and they divorced again. Another terrible thing happened when Kim had a car crash in 2015 – her attorney explained that it was in fact a suicide attempt, which she admitted during her interview on radio show Mojo – she was already 10 years sober at that point.

Hailie is actually Eminem’s only biological daughter, and he puts her in a lot of his songs, even dedicating an entire album to her. He adopted his daughter Alaina whose biological mother is Dawn Scott – Kim’s twin sister was also a drug addict, so he decided to take her under his wing and adopted her in 2002; sadly her mother Dawn died in January 2016 after she overdosed on heroin.
