Very little is known about Jon’s family, childhood, and his path towards becoming a professional sportswriter. He attended Lawrence High School in New York which is one of the Lawrence public high schools, and after matriculating, enrolled at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism which is one of the top journalism schools in the US.
