Tracey Needham was discovered by a talent agent while at a gas station. She started her career in acting by debuting in the TV series “Jake and the Fatman”, then appeared as Ann in the series “Coach”. After a series of role plays, she landed her first major role in 1989 in the drama “Life Goes on”, in the part of Paige Thatcher, then played the strong feminine character of Lt. Meg Austin a Navy Judge advocate in the military-action adventure series “JAG”’s first season in 1995-96.

In 1997, she played the character Roxanne in “Buried Alive II”, Gina Gallagher in 1999 TV movie “Justice”, and Ellie Jones in “Total Security”. In 2004, she played Jessica Abernathy in “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation”, and was cast as Sarah in “Angel in the Family”.

Other notable appearances have been as Kathleen Barry in three episodes of  “Veronica Mars” and as Sarah Sharpe in “The Last Harbor”.

Apart from her acting career, she also wrote and produced the film “Tupperware Party” in 1997.
